Run ASTRA-sim

Once ASTRA-sim is built, the executable ${BINARY} is located at:

# For the analytical network backend
$ ${ASTRA_SIM}/build/astra_analytical/build/AnalyticalAstra/bin/AnalyticalAstra

Run simulations by passing the required aruguments:

$ ${BINARY} \
  --workload-configuration=${WORKLOAD_CONFIG} \
  --system-configuration=${SYSTEM_CONFIG} \
  --network-configuration=${NETWORK_CONFIG} \
  --remote-memory-configuration=${REMOTE_MEMORY_CONFIG}

• Argument ${WORKLOAD_CONFIG}
  • Using Chakra Execution Trace
  • Using Execution Trace Converter (et_converter)
  • Enable Communicator Groups
• Argument ${SYSTEM_CONFIG}
• Argument ${NETWORK_CONFIG}
  • Analytical Network Config
  • Garnet Network Config
  • NS3 Network Config
    • Physical Topology
    • Logical Topology
• Argument ${REMOTE_MEMORY_CONFIG}
  • Analytical Remote Memory Config

Additional arguments may be required based on the type of network backend.
